When you are in other country, you should follow the rules in that country.
A foreign woman married Japanese man advises about “What you should not do in Japan”.
–  Using cellphone or eating food in trains or buses.
–  Making noise in public place
–  Complaining (Getting emotional)
–  Taking photos of unknown people (on street)
–  Ordering in detail such as adding or removing something on prepared menu at restaurant
–  Wearing the cloth showing cleavage
–  Bringing a knife with more than 5.5cm blade
–  Acting remarkably
She mentioned these points, and also added that Japanese people also break these manners, so foreigners don’t need to worry about that when they visit.
Just consider if your behavior bothers others.  She concluded with that message.

Foreigners' Reaction

The group of Samurai wearing Kimono and woven hat take photo in front of Sphinx.  Second Japanese Embassy to Europe was sent to France in 1864, and took photo when they visited Egypt before going to France.  

Japanese people at that time also knew Pyramid and Sphinx with documents.  They should be very impressed to see them in real.  We feel impression by seeing this photo.    This is very interesting and emotional.
Great difference between Samurai and Sphinx seems to give various impression to foreigners, too.

Tamago kake gohan (rice mixed with raw egg) is very simple but popular among Japanese.
In this video, Tamago kake gohan restaurant, “Tankuma”(Toyooka, Hyogo)’s owner explains the best way to eat Tamago kake gohan.
In many countries, eating raw eggs are prohibited.  Foreigners leave various comments on this video.

Glass Harp, making music by touching the edge of glasses.
In this video, we can listen to the song from the film “Harry Potter” Theme of Hedwig.
Glass harp makes sound by causing friction between fingers and glasses.  Fingers should be always wet while playing.  If fingers have oil, the friction doesn’t occur, so they need to wash their hands with alcohol and soap before playing.
