In this video, it explains that many westerns refer astrology, but Japanese refer blood type. Japanese ask blood-type when they meet someone for judging the personality.
This video includes some interview to Japanese people about blood type and personality. Basically, it’s about the reaction to “Blood types in Japanese culture”, so you don’t need to watch everything.
Personally, I don’t think blood type decides the tendency of characteristic, but in this society which has character diagnosis by blood type, we might be brainwashed and be close to “blood-type character”.
I thought blood type is not general in any countries.
I don’t know my blood type. w
What’s the blood type? dense blood or not?
How could we judge the characteristic with blood type.. it’s nonsense.
Well, in this video, there are many people who has blood type B. Blood type A is general in Japan. Well, it’s like astrology. Just for enjoying it, and they don’t take it seriously. =)
I don’t know my blood type… It’s just strange to know the characteristic with blood type. w
hehe. I don’t know my blood type, nor I’m not interested in that. w
I don’t know mine, but I wanna know it by watching this video!
Mine is O+. The reason I know my blood type is I got the card when I donated blood to red cross. Most of people here don’t know own blood type.
Ah.. that’s why Japanese game sometimes asks me my blood type. I understand. I give five stars to this video! v(^_^)v +3
It’s very interesting that Japanese remember their own blood type. I don’t know my blood type. I like this interesting video! :)
Everyone in my country knows own blood type.
It’s very interesting. I’ve never thought of my blood type.
I don’t know my blood type. It’s normal here.
I wanted to know my blood type and went to donate blood.
Then, “your blood vessel is unhealthy!” :D
Then, they didn’t take my blood, nor I could know my blood type.
“I’m A, You?”… I thought it’s like one topic of conversation.
It is.. My Japanese friend asked me my blood type. I got confused at that time.
But I knew that they use that for diagnosing character. Haha.
I don’t know types of blood type. What kind does it have?
I wondered why people talk about blood type in Japan. I know it now thanks to this video. You are great!
Asking blood type in daily life is strange. we are not in the hospital…
For me, western, it sounds very strange, but diagnosing character with blood type might be surer than astrology. Blood attached to human, so must be surer than diagnosing with the position of stars…
I remember I wrote my blood type on the back of my name card when I went to school in Japan.
I think it’s a great idea as a measure to accident or emergency. Soldiers use the same style (I think).
I watched this video a few months ago. I watched this again because my favorite Japanese band talked about blood type in the book interview. If I didn’t watch this, I got confused like “Blood type? why now?” +6
It’s cool information.
My daughter reads manga, and the author’s blood type is introduced. Now I understand the reason!
I understand better blood type diagnose than astrology. hahaha +32
Then, Japanese don’t believe astrology? As we don’t talk about blood type, they just don’t talk about it? +12
Blood type has only 100 years history. it’s totally different from astrology which has several thousand years history, but this obtains citizenship.
Japanese take the character diagnosis seriously? I read astrology just for fun.
My blood type is O, but my character doesn’t match to this diagnosis. It’s just like westerns read astrology for fun?
hum.. I doubt… I’m happy only with astrology…:) +3
I’m 18 years old, and I don’t know my blood type. :/ +8
It’s interesting there is the good match of blood type. If I have someone I like and can know that person’s blood type, I could say “your blood type matches to my blood type!” for getting attention!
This might be good as a way of communication apart from validity.
