“Aikido looks strong in demonstration, but is it really strong?”

-  In fact, Aikido is strong?

-  Aikido is the return technique using the other’s force, right?

-  Steven Seagal does Aikido, right?  I think it’s strong with the trained people.

-  I think Aikido is the extreme self protection.

-  Many people learn Aikido for protection, but it requires much training for protecting yourself in real life.

-  People think Aikido is just protection, but actually it’s not.  In fact, some places teach Aikido with attack in real combat.  Well, it’s different depending on the school.

-  Aikido becomes the strongest by combining with the the martial arts.  Aikido is like the extreme salt putting on the steak.

-  Aikido is strong if you master it, but it’s difficult to reach to that place.  Actually, I don’t think we can’t be strong with several trainings.  It’s not recommended for people who want to be strong in short period.

-  I’ve seen some Aikido demonstration, actually I wonder if they can use that in the real combat.

-  Can it beat Mike Tyson?  It’s possible if the technique works well, but you would be knocked down if you get the punch in your face…

-  I think Aikido is weak talking strong or weak.  But it’s compared to the other martial arts, I don’t mean it doesn’t work at all.

-  Aikido is not aggressive.  If you wanna be strong, you should choose boxing or Judo.

-  I think it’s good for self protection, but boxing is beating each other.  Compared to that, even women and children can use this once they remember the technique. I think it’s enough attractive.

-  I heard the strongest martial arts is Sumo…  The balance is perfect and it’s very powerful in total.

-  We can’t know til we fight in real.  It’s up to oneself.

-  But we can learn many things from Aikido.

-  Aikido is very interesting.  Using the other’s force, return etc, we need to think a lot.  Well, it’s deep and not easy.

-  Aikido is difficult, it’s very difficult to master it..   That’s why it’s interesting and worth doing.

-  Aikido is kind of art not martial arts.  Japanese martial arts respect the spiritual training.  I love that part of Japanese martial arts.

-  The best protection is running away!!!   lol
